Abstract

The current study highlights the relationship between selecting human resources and assuming managerial positions and examines the impact of choosing the human resources on taking eaxecutive ranks. The Faculty of Management and Economics staff at the University of Kufa was chosen based on a random sample of 30 employees. A questionnaire form was adopted as a data collection tool, and a person parameter was used to identify the relationship between the variables. The most important conclusions reached indicated a significant impact of the selection of human resources on assuming managerial positions, and lousy selection of human resources eventually cost the college a lot. Consequently, the Faculty's objectives cannot be achieved, whether in the short, medium, or long term, in the absence of appropriate selection of human resources.
