Abstract

Based on the energy policies of the government, there is a focus on supporting the production and potential use of renewable energy from local fuel sources in order to give people the opportunity to participate in the production and management of energy and build energy stability, which is in line with the 20-year national strategic plan to make Mae Chaem district achieve the goal of establishing a community power plant, which will help the people of Mae Chaem district in terms of sustainable living and public utilities by encouraging community participation in the production, use and distribution of electricity. There will be shared ownership of the power plant to build a stable electrical system in the area, including improving the foundational economy of the people to have income as well as communities receiving financial returns from the sale of fuel for renewable energy from agricultural materials and the distribution of electricity, which is regarded as a process in local community development for sustainability to help drive the economy of communities and allow various industries of the country be able to progress with the participation of the local people by creating cooperative ownership of community resources. This will result in improved development that is not only focused on encouraging the generating of electricity for use in communities but will also help to increase incomes and reduce inequality for the people at the basic level in terms of strengthening of the economy, society and education in order to further raise the level of the foundational economy.
