Students' of Faculties of Mass Media in Jordanian Universities Attitudes Toward the Coverage of the Corona Crisis on Jordanian Satellite Channels

Abstract

This research aims to identify the students' of Faculties of Mass media in Jordanian universities attitudes toward the coverage of the Corona crisis on Jordanian satellite channels, the study included all students of Faculties of Mass media in both public and private Jordanian universities. As the sample consisted of 322 respondents. The research found a difference in the attitudes of students of Faculties of Mass media in Jordanian universities according to the content and the nature of the presented material on Jordanian satellite channels about the Corona crisis. A correlation was found between the determining factors of the formation of the students' attitudes and their actual attitudes toward watching what these channels present about the Corona crisis. It was also found that there is a satisfaction among students of Faculties of Mass media in Jordanian universities with the coverage provided by Jordanian satellite channels about the Corona crisis.
