The Impact of the Corona Pandemic on Academic Performance in Teaching the Curricula of the First Three Grades in Kasbah Amman Schools (Private Schools)

Abstract

The outbreak of the Corona virus poses a severe threat to the world's educational systems. Efforts to contain the Corona epidemic resulted in the unscheduled closing of schools in a number of nations around the world. The study looks into the effects of the Corona Pandemic on academic performance in teaching the first three grades' curricula in Kasbah Amman schools. The information was gathered through the use of a questionnaire. Descriptive Statistics/Regression were used to examine the collected data. Corona Pandemic has a significant impact on academic performance, according to the study. The findings also suggest that many educators and students relied on technology to ensure that they could continue learning online throughout the Corona outbreak. However, online education had an impact on teachers' teaching practices, and it did not help them reach their teaching objectives. The study highlights the major implications of the Corona pandemic on educational performance, and all educational institutions, learners, and educatorsmust adopt appropriate technology and develop their digital abilities  to stay up with changing global educational trends and realities.
