Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see that various studies have discussed profitability and liquidity as factors that affect the capital structure and have an imp8act on firm value but still produce inconsistencies, wherein one study profitability and liquidity were found to affect capital structure while in another study the two variables had no. The results showed that profitability and liquidity had a significant negative effect on capital structure, profitability and capital structure had a significant positive effect on firm value, while liquidity did not affect firm value in manufacturing industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014. in the transportation sub-sector companies for the 2015-2019 period, it was found that profitability had no effect on capital structure and liquidity had a negative effect on capital structure. used is a quantitative research method through the distribution of questionnaires to data processing with SPSS.
