An Analysis of Job Satisfaction and Work Discipline: Case Study at Aisyiyah BLK PAY Lodging in Yogyakarta

Abstract

Employees as human resources in the company must be adequately managed. By providing high job satisfaction, the employees are expected to work with good work discipline voluntarily. The research was conducted to determine job satisfaction related to employee work discipline at BLK PAY Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. The results showed that BLK PAY Yogyakarta had provided high job satisfaction referring to the work discipline of employees at BLK PAY Yogyakarta developed from kinship. Consequently, there are regulations in BLK PAY Yogyakarta and are carried out well to deliver good work discipline. In addition to discipline in line with job satisfaction, there is a policy from the chief of orphanage that encourages the development of BLK, especially related to the employees. In terms of welfare, BLK employees are judged according to their productivities. Two factors affect job satisfaction, factors that exist in employees and work factors.
